CLASSIFICATION
Double adhesive paper: All are single-layer, with no special treatment on the paper surface, relying on color tape to achieve text printing, suitable for ordinary needle printers.
Thermal paper: also a single layer, coated with a thermal chemical coating on the paper surface, and colored by the printing effect of a laser thermal head. This type of cashier paper does not require additional printing consumables and has a smooth surface that is easy to leave marks, making it suitable for thermal head printers.
Carbonless paper: It contains at least two or more layers, with the first layer requiring color development through the pressure of a dot matrix printer, while the other layers rely on printing pressure for direct color development.
Self sensing paper: composed of one or more layers, it can be colored with the pressure of a needle printer without the need to install a ribbon. The first layer is called self sensing paper, while the other layers are similar to ordinary carbonless paper.

Ordinary double adhesive paper: Common specifications include 44x40, 57x60, 70x60, 75x60, 75x80, 76x80, 82x80, etc.
Carbonless paper: Common specifications include 57x40 double-layer, 57x60 double-layer, 75x60 double-layer, 75x60 three-layer, 241x100 double-layer, 241x100 three-layer, etc.

Purchasing Tips
In terms of material: High quality cashier paper is usually made of wood pulp paper, which has good tensile strength and appearance cleanliness. Cashier paper made from mixed pulp paper or straw pulp paper often contains impurities, has weak tensile strength, and is prone to breakage.
In terms of smoothness: Cashier paper with high smoothness can reduce the wear of the print head and improve the printing effect.
For thermal cashier paper: the key to quality lies in the quality of the thermal coating and protective layer. If the coating distribution is uneven, it will lead to inconsistent printing colors; Improper coating chemical formula can shorten the storage time of cash register paper. High quality thermal cashier paper should present uniform color, high smoothness and whiteness, and a slight green tone. If the paper is too white, it may be due to the addition of too much fluorescent powder. In addition, the quality of the paper can be judged by burning the back of the paper. High quality thermal cashier paper should present a black green color after heating, and the color blocks should be uniform, gradually becoming lighter from the center outward.
